What To Bring for Excursions

People relaxing on boats and in the water on a sunny day near a tree-lined shore.

Here are some suggested items for boat trips that will help you with your excursion preparation for your adventure with Captain RR Excursions. We'll cover what to bring, what we supply, and what to leave at home.

✅ Excursion Preparation: What to Bring for Your Boat Trip:

• Sunscreen

• Sunglasses (polarized recommended)

• Towels (if you plan to swim or get in the water)

• Any personal medication you may need

• Drinks (we supply bottled water — bring anything else you’d like)

• Snacks or food

• Bright-colored shirt (for scalloping — hunter orange is best)

• Water shoes (flip-flops, Crocs, and sandals are not recommended — they come off easily in muddy areas)

• Personal fishing gear (optional — we provide all rods and tackle)

• Your own mask/snorkel (optional — we provide extras but fit is not guaranteed)

• Visit our YouTube channel for gear tips on items for boat trips.

✅ What We Provide for Your Excursion Preparation:

  • Bottled water

  • 65-quart cooler with potable ice (for your drinks)

  • Additional cooler with ice for fishing trips

  • Bluetooth radio (please keep volume respectful for everyone on board and close by)

  • All necessary fishing rods and tackle

  • Scalloping gear (limited masks/snorkels available)

When planning what to bring for your boat trips, these items will ensure you have everything you need for a great day out on the water.

🚫 What Not to Bring for Your Excursion Preparation:

• Glass bottles — not allowed for safety

• Excessive alcohol — you may bring alcoholic beverages, but please drink responsibly during your boat trips.

• The captain reserves the right to end a charter if someone becomes highly intoxicated, ensuring a safe experience for everyone.

Now book your excursion and lets have some fun!
